This late 1800s Rockaway, although still
solid, had been painted black. As Randy stripped away the
paint, he discovered the carriage's true colors and
replicated them. Except for the seat bottom, the upholstery
is original and the running gear just needed painting.
This 19th century McLaughlin Rumble Seat Trap needed major
restoration. Randy stripped the carriage to bare wood and
replaced what was rotted and broken. He painted the carriage
and replaced the upholstery to match the original.
